This was a beautiful and fun walk in the magnificient Nullica State Forest. The route included lots of variation following fire trails, small tracks and taking more challenging off-track routes and rock hopping along and across water courses. Visiting the picturesque Old Hut Creek and Yowaka River, lunch and morning tea were enjoyed water-side. After lunch, the group picked their way along the spectacular gorge to a spot where a final break provided an opportunity for a plung in the cold waters of the Yowaka River. A boots off ford crossing and a steep uphill climb returned all to their cars.
