Next Activity: 16th June Brogo Dam walk - see program

Starting at South Cuttagee Beach this varied and interesting walk explored the Barragga Bay area. The walk included visiting a coastal cave inhabited by cute horseshoe bats, walking through the grounds of a couple of private properties of local historical interest (with permission) and lunch at the 4 Winds area. Possibly the most memorable highlight was the descent down to a rock formation that forms a magnificient window to the ocean (sometimes known as the Golden Gate) which proved most refreshing for some of the walkers. Weather wise the day turned out to be glorious. Promised rain did not eventuate, due to, it seems, the leader being on excellent terms with the weather gods.
